How it is computed
Couriers bill in 500 g slabs: a base rate for the first 500 g, then a fixed amount for every additional 500 g, with the weight rounded up to the next slab. This estimator applies those published surface rates (slab table version 2026-09-03.1) to the weight you enter.
Everything here is an estimate, not a quote. Your actual charge depends on your contracted rates, the delivery zone, mode (surface or air), COD fees and surcharges. The useful signal is relative: if the courier billed you far above the estimate for the weight you actually shipped, the weight itself is worth checking.
